Is there usually or will there be a 2021 Holiday season sales thread? Black Friday, Christmas, etc? I'm talking grills, grill accessories, etc.
I would love to post to it, but I don't want to get flagged for spam :). Running a sale on everything.
Went to make myself lunch yesterday and fired up the Bullseye. It was showing Er 1 before I even hit power. Power cycled and it came back up reading 400+ degrees after just hitting the power button. RTD probe issue is what RT said - it was not even attached to the grill as I could pull it...
I'm heavily considering it. I mostly want it to check my accessories fit and the little things here and there that are upgraded. What's everyone else thinking?
Wonder how much I could get for my 700 with front folding shelf and sear kit...
I'm cheap and these meat prices are too damn high. I was at Costco this morning and ribs were $15/rack, briskets all over $100, and fillets in the $80s too. I'm currently in the non-smoking section for a bit. Hotdogs, hamburgers, and pizza are about all that's getting cooked right now...
I got rid of my ancient Weber Genesis gasser when I got the bull and later got a bullseye. My wife complains she doesn't like how the hotdogs taste off the pellet grills - like wood she says. She says she always liked them on my old Weber. Suggestions on what to do. Do I buy another gasser...
I buy baby back ribs at Costco every few weeks. I had every intention of getting some baby backs today at Costco, but they where out! Only St. Louis style and tons of it. Think they're having supply chain issues. Not a fan of the St. Louis ribs with all the gristle.
Guess I'm making burgers...
What's the best tool and frequency to clean the bullseye vents?
P.S. Has anyone taken the spacer off? Part of me thinks there's a reason RT left it out of the package...
My bullseye is currently under maintenance. Since it got cold I've been unable to get it over 160 degrees, even in riot mode. Eventually it throws an Err 2 because it can't reach temperature. I looked inside while it was "hot" and there was a flame so the igniter is working. I vacuumed it...
I saw the posts on Facebook about the Aura grate and jumped in. Wow the photos don’t do this thing justice. This is solid! Will be putting some canola oil on tonight and maybe get some burgers going. Can’t wait to cook on it.
I currently have a RT-700 and sell a smoke stack cover to keep the rodents out. Curious if any of you have the BFG and Bull and can confirm if the smoke stacks are the same size/part/design. Would really appreciate the info!
Thanks!
Shout out to forum member Charles Shell. I think I sent him 15 to 25 prototypes of a grease drain port plug for his Stampede before we got one that fit. No more worries about mice/rats climbing into the barrel.
Anyone else have their front shelf hit the angled legs when you collapse it down?
Thinking about designing a stopper or contact point to prevent damaging the legs paint.
