Wondering if anyone else has seen the food probes go up to around 300 when plugged in and at ambient temps. Sometimes they come back to normal or jump up to 250 when inserted into the food after a short time. Thanks

somewhere they claim the 700 holds around 7 10# shoulders, they lie. Didn't think I would be cooking for a week but it was worth it.

Oldest graduated and wanted pulled pork. Started with 16 10# butts, took 4 cooks at 15hrs per cook. Lot of work but beats a catering bill and turned out pretty good.

That's how I do mine everytime, they always come out great. No wrap no sauce

Chicken thighs and a few legs. Turned out great 350 for an hour then 425 for about 20 mins. Nice crispy skin.
