    Have enjoyed good advice

Someone said they had good luck cleaning the outside of the RT 700 with a product P66. Found it on Amazon and used it today. After 4 years of use and failed attempts to clean up creosote leaks around the lid the buildup was quite thick. The stuff does work well & my grill looks near new. Also...

    Has any one tried this?

Have 2 pork butts on RT 700 for 9 hours. After 4 hours at 225 have been increasing temperature gradually to 270. Internal 165 rap in foil increased temp to 290. Waiting for 203. At 10 hours this is killing me. How would it work to start out in sous vide to say 140 then put on ReqTeq at 260...

RT700 Outside temp 11 degrees NNW 7 mph

Pellet consumption was only slightly higher. I think the low wind velocity had quite a bit to do with it. 0 - 400 on the Chicken was great, will do it again.

    Hopper idea

The 700 hopper is divided into two bins. When wanting to use a different pellet it is necessary to empty the entire hopper. Wondering if a cut off could be made so auger only feeds from one side. Would make it quick and easy to switch pellets when cooking a different meat. Any ideas?

Need some advise on smoking cheese

Lesson learned for sure. Smoke tube only, no fire in grill, age for two weeks in vacuum. Delicious for sure. Thanks for the excellent advise.
