So...I was thinking that the Matador was a gas grill not a wok.....so I paused.....thoughts on it? One thing that did come to mind. Our back patio area is super windy at times here in the pacific northwest...how tippy is the unit?
Any impressions on it? I love my RT-700...and thought this...
I did the search and didn't really find what I am trying to determine.
So here up in the Pacific Northwest, I am a about 20miles from a mountain pass so it is windy and colder then down at sea level.
I have had no issues, but recently with the stronger winter winds and colder temps I fight to...
The platter is themed as much of our house is as my wife and I both are scuba divers.....thanks for the props on the meat, I swear the Bull makes it easy it ain’t my skills. Lol. As for the hawks. All I can say is I am not surprised.
So wife and I invited her parents over for the Seahawks game and I said I will do a tri tip on the Rec TEC. My father-in-law has a pit boss. So he was curious. Gotta say the bull is amazing!!!! Couldn’t be happier everyone loved the meat!
That does make sense.....but I think the probes are tied to a port.....the probes I think are temp only do not think there is any "brain" to them......so if you swap them around, you will be having a change in temp you do not expect.
I didn't pick up on that in the vid. I did label them so I was clear on it for future......was wondering.....it's the techie in me curious on the probe or the unit tracking it.
So something I was wondering......I did my calibration yesterday, one was high by 2 and other low by 2. Easy fix. Are the calibrations tied to the probe or the probe port? So if I mix prob a/b on the next cook, is it off?
Well the first cook is done and in the books. All I can say is WOW! I used the holiday prime rib video as my guide. I did my 1 hour burn in, then right to the Rib Roast. Took about 3 hours to get it done. Wife and I just moved into a new house at Thanksgiving, so was our first Xmas and...
From what i found you do not need to be on the same network, it goes via a cloud connection. So you shouldn't have to setup on the same network to talk to the grill. It is as other said just an annoyance but was glad to see I am not the only one who has the issue :)
Has anyone ever seen this?
Just got my bull up and running. Burn in done and rib roast cooking!
as I sit with whisky and see error I wanted to see if others had it? It clears and still works just annoying
