Also check that the igniter is not setback in the firepot and is flush with the end of the tube. I’ve heard of several cases of it not being positioned correctly from factory causing delayed ignition and the firepot filling with pellets causing this issue.

I jumped on and ordered a liner for my 590. I’m not 100% convinced it’s going to be better / easier than wrapping with foil but for 22$ it’s worth a try.
