I'm feelin ya on the wheels. One of the smaller ones is already wobbly after 2 months. With regards to smoke - I place chunks of wood directly on the cast iron deflector and get all the smoke flavor I could ever want. So much so that the 1250 is going to be my only smoker once I downsize.

I season mine and then let it sit and get happy while the pit is warming up. I tried trimming one the night before and didnt like the look/feel the next morning. Also, when I used to season the night before I just had a gloppy mess the next morning.

Nice bikes. I've had 15 Harleys over the years, grew up in a Harley family back in the AMF days. Beautiful bikes, quality has never been better - I stilll would argue that Harley has the best chrome and paint in the industry. I've just decided to move in another direction.

I'm hoping Recteq has ordered in sufficient quantity; otherwise they will be back to zero balance again within days now the demand has grown.

Problem is, without Recteq coming right out and saying they are stuck on a container ship, it is not a fact, just a supposition. May be right, may not be.
