Bull Wifi keeps disconnecting

Never had a problem until recently.
A few weeks ago it took 2 days and problem 30 attempts and I finally got it to connect.
Between then and the past weekend it disconnected again. I tried forever to get it to connect and gave up.
Until about an hour left on my 16hr cook, it connected by itself without me even doing anything.
And now it says its offline again.

Im on 2.4ghz, full strength on wifi from my router. Nothing changed.
 
Your signal strength can be good, but you can have a lot of interference (neighboring APs on the same or overlapping channels). Does your phone seem to perform OK from the same location?

Is the antenna tight?
 
Phone works fine and fast online at the grill.
Haven't checked antenna but the bull has been in the same spot for over a year unmoved.
 
I've run into similar twice this year after working fine all last year. 1st time I reloaded the app on the phone, 2nd time I reconnected the app to the router which may have been the issue the 1st time.
 
I was having problems after owning the grill about a year. I took my antenna off to replace it with an aftermarket antenna, then realized it had the wrong gender connector. I put the original back on and tightened it down more than it was from the factory. It now points to 6:00. Haven’t had an issue since then.
