Looks great, how do you like to do your bacon? Gonna do some soon, need some tips.

I like my bacon well done. It is great on the smoker as it does not shrink as much, does not curl up and is easier to cook it to the doneness you like....I started at 300 as the wife and kids were gone, when they got home I put it at 350.....I really do not think the temp matters, it just depends how long you want to cook it. I probably had it on for 45 min to an hour, although I didn't time....I just kept an eye on it and pulled it when it was cooked enough...

looks good. many packages have directions for cooking in the oven - that's a good place to start
Yeah..seems I have seen some say they do bacon low and slow for a while or the whole way through. Curious how that compares to a hotter/faster method like that described above..ya know, the kind of real world practical advice that you might find on a pellet grill forum..😏

Honestly, I think it just depends on how fast you want it done, and how much smoke you want it to take on. No wrong way to cook bacon....

@Plumberguy if you like your bacon really crispy do it hot, if you like it with a tug when you bite it go low and slow. If you go hot and fast it is one of a few cooks you better be lookin’ or you’ll be over cookin’.

I've never heard of low & slow for bacon aside from preparing the pork belly.

Started this morning with the bacon, ended this afternoon with salmon and shrimp and risotto on the 590. Was amazing, so good in fact I was too excited to eat to take pictures....lol

Sure you have..some people do it on low for 4-5 hours, or slightly higher for less; curious to know what people prefer, that's all. Do you though.
