Will the Recteq Grill Pad stain my patio?

Hello All,
My grill pad arrived last night and I placed it in the garage. Within an our or so, the whole place smelled like a petroleum plant. My question, is this mat going to adhere/stain my paver patio here in the NC summer? Any feedback is welcomed. Still waiting for my Bull...

Leave it outside in the lawn. Let the sun bake around on it for awhile.

When the sun heats up that pad on the lawn it will kill the grass.

Yup! Best grass killer you can find is a mat on grass under the sun for about an hour.

I've got mine on my deck. Think it'll leave uneven fade but not expecting a stain.
