The icons, etc might be different depending on the device you're using. On an Android phone and desktop browser, the envelope appears in the upper right of the screen (next to the bell icon.) Clicking the envelope should include an option to start a conversation - that's the private message feature.

Another option is to click on a user's avatar (picture/icon) which should display a pop-up with a button "Start Conversation" which would default to that user already selected.

@Dan99, click on your username in the right hand upper corner then click on Privacy. Scroll down to "Allow users to" and then look at “Post messages on your profile page:” See what your setting is.

I never got mine to hook up because of the 2.4 thing. I need to get Ray Carnes out to my house to F with my router.
