There are a couple of posts about upgrading the WiFi antenna on the grilles. I have a 590 and have a post on here on replacing the antenna. Get a whole lot better signal than the original 2” antenna.

Had terrible time getting grille to connect (and reconnect) to my router. Searched for a while for the correct coaxial/thread/etc and found a set of two antennae and surface mount connectors with wires and clips to connect to board. Ended up not needing to do anything but remove old tiny antenna...
