I could not pass up on the 340 as well. I have used the 340 to smoke bacon while ribs were on 1250. I also think the 340 will be used for the wife and me for our nightly cooks.

I did the same, not even knowing what I'm going to do with the 340. I tried to get one of my sons to buy it, but it doesn't work for them right now. So I'll either have a portable smoker or try to sell it locally. I really don't know what we'll do with it yet - it was pretty spontaneous.
