    1100 or 1250?

@Donkeyshaunjr welcome to the forum! I have a 1250 and like it. It's performed well for me. That being said, space wise, the main grate of the 1100 and 1250 are almost identical (34×19.25 vs 33x19). The difference is the partial shelf of the 1100 or the bigger shelf on the 1250. I use the...

    ThermowWorks Signals Problem

My Signals locked up this morning. It just froze up for about 20 minutes. In the graph attached, you can see where it flat lined. I turned it off and back on and the correct temps started reporting again. Anyone ever have this happen? Thanks

    Sad Day for Parrot Heads

I went to his shows for 25 straight years in Cincinnati. I've probably seen 40 or so of his and the reefers performances. I shook his hand at the end of one his shows. Great shows each and every time! "It's been a pleasure and a hell of an evening"

RT-1250 Has anyone tried wood chunks on the cast iron deflector?

@Marshall I tried this once a while back. There was not enough clearance between the deflector and the drip pan for the size of chunks I had on hand. You could use chips, but I would think they would burn up very quickly. I use a smoke tube with chips and pellets if I want added smoke. Pack the...

RT-1250 How many aluminum pans will fit on a 1250?

@hogball7 Those probes are from a Bluetooth thermometer I bought back in 2018. It came with 6 probes, 5 are still working and accurate, verified with my Signals. Here's the link...

RT-1250 How many aluminum pans will fit on a 1250?

Above posts are correct. I just put the rack right on the aluminum pans. Saves a lot of clean up. For larger cooks, I don't use the pans.

RT-1250 How many aluminum pans will fit on a 1250?

3 half pans fit easily. 4 do not fit. 1 full pan and 1 half pan might fit but it would be tight. Hope this helps

    Wood chips in the hopper

Has anyone seen this? I haven't seen it discussed here. Lone Star Grillz has wood chips they mix with pellets to run through their pellet grills. https://lonestargrillz.com/collections/accessories/products/wood-chips Here's a couple YouTube videos: Please note, I'm not suggesting that...

    Help Requested Please

@Greg Jones The are a lot of plants that are toxic to dogs. And any mushroom that isn't safe for humans probably isn't safe for a dog either. One of my dogs ate 2 azaleas bushes to the ground. He was quite sick for a while as they are toxic to dogs. A quick web search will give the names of...

    RT-1250 Grill blanket for a 1250

Recteq used to offer one, but I don't believe they do any more. People here use welding blankets. Harbor Freight is a good source. Hope this helps.

Bullseye I just got the bullseye and was woundering if anyone has heard about the Royal Oak charcoal pellets.

I've run them through my 1250 and they were fine. No problems. But as @Greg Jones said, the flavor was very mild.
