Lot's of good books on rubs and sauces on the market and can be found on the web for free. A book of whole bunch of award winning rub and sauce recipes can be had for the price of a small jar of a single rub and is worth every penny. Never go back to store bought rubs and sauces...

Finally got my MFR dialed in at 2.5. First pic at 325, 2nd at 200. Thanks to folks who gave me tips above.

I love the 24 hour temperature history and the zoom capability. I was always forgetting to check my cook profile before I turned off the grill. Now, it is persistent until tomorrow. So, I can check things out after eating. Really nice.

One thing I noticed is there’s no way to adjust the time interval on the graph anymore. (maybe it’s there and I can’t find it) It would be nice to be able to do that. Otherwise the app seems to be working really well. I really like the landscape view! Where can the probe temperature alarms be...

So, I'm at 2.0 feed rate and still experiencing flamouts.Here is a view of the temperature chart and the re ignition of pellets. Any further thoughts on this?
