    The Carnivore Diet

He went from big ole Dan to just........BIG DAN! :) I am down 22 pounds from last June, simply by cutting down on alcohol and sugar consumption, eating more frequently and smaller portions, "high protein" and cutting down but not out of those yummy carbs and starches. Doing anything extreme to...

Well, I had my first one yesterday

Not sure I agree with that, as I checked the build up of ash in the firepot after a 12 hour cook and there wasn't much in there. I clean out about twice a month "use my grill at least once a week but typically twice per week", and even then nothing is out of control or even bordering on being a...

Well, I had my first one yesterday

Dirty ignition and too many pellets in the pot is the cause for this, I now start up at 235 degrees "with lid open". I have never had a pop but came close once, upon investigation I saw that the pot was full of pellets and many were smoldering badly "can't get air to them", and I am someone who...

RT-1070 Bull horns. Have you ever wondered why the bull horns on the grill are installed pointing in when bull horns always point outward.

I always root for the bulls, play stupid games........win stupid prizes.

    The Carnivore Diet

Alot of the meat we eat is also on par with veggies, it's really hard to trust where our meat comes from now and what its been fed and in particular "injected" with.

    Meat inflation ruining barbecue

Yet here we all here......and it is what it is for some of the reasons you mentioned. If only consumers in masses would stop spending money for a few days up to a week, you can bet that things would quickly shape right up with INFLATION. ;)

    Why/how 700 degrees

Depends on the model/design, my 590 most certainly can't hit those temps nor is that what I bought it for.

Bull rt-700 constant flame out (solved)

Could be the internal probe or AKA the RTD? Doesn't matter you believe/think it is good, just one thing I would rule out before the controller.

Select Bear Mountain Pellets at Walmart

They are fine pellets, what I used prior to Bear Mountain and Kirkland.

Blackstone or comparable griddle owners here?

Good to know about HALO, their offerings look very nice "high build quality" and sounds like they have put some thought and engineering into their design as well. I ordered up some wind deflectors, any improvement over now would be very welcome. The Blackstones are for sure at a price point, so...

Select Bear Mountain Pellets at Walmart

Yup me as well, I also have a ridiculous sense of smell which I know just accentuates flavors too.
