    Bullseye Lid trouble

That is not how the hinge should fit the lid on the original Bullseye, that notch on the upper hinge should fit around the lip on the lid

    Bullseye Way Over heating

    Bullseye Excessive smoke on bullseye

Have you ever started it with the rack and drip pan out so you can see the firepot? Mine would get a lot of pellets in the pot before ignition so I put the igniter about an eighth inch farter into the pot. Less than 9 minutes from off to 425 and it holds temp well

    Bullseye After one year

I have my igniter sticking out into the firepot about an 1/8 inch and mine doesn't overshoot the set temp at startup by more than 5 degrees. I had the cooking grate and heat shield off it during one startup and saw pellets getting blown to the far side of the firepot and sometimes got to about...

Bullseye Is the fan supposed to shut off when over the temp setpoint?

Oh well, still holds temp better than a PB using the same pellets

Bullseye Is the fan supposed to shut off when over the temp setpoint?

I never suggested that, someone else mentioned idle speed, even the PB is just on/off for auger and induction blower

Bullseye Is the fan supposed to shut off when over the temp setpoint?

I understand the blower is for induction but I would expect it to shut off at set point temp similar to what my father's Pit Boss Laredo does but that thing takes 30 minutes to get up to temp. I might try a recteq induction blower on it as they seem to have more CFM output

Bullseye Is the fan supposed to shut off when over the temp setpoint?

Mine doesn't even change speed even if it over shoots the set temp by 60 degrees when set at 350 or higher. Sounds like a blow torch

Bullseye Is the fan supposed to shut off when over the temp setpoint?

I know mine does on LO but when I set to 400 it can get to 450 and the fan keeps running?
