Pete, as a WSM owner, there is really no comparison with the product from a Pellet grill compared to a smoker… neither visually nor as to smoke ring, etc. Bark, yes. It’s a different sort of smoke. There are vids that demonstrate the chemistry of burning wood chunks vs pellets. I enjoy pellet...

I have a WSM 18. 3 small chunks of wood give me too much smoke for my taste!! 2 cherry one Pecan or hickory. Yes, our tastes are different. To Sel, used Weber Smokey mountains can be had for $250 or less, and using the “Minion” fire build, can be basically intended for 6 or more hours at a time...

Because it won't fit assembled in my car...I do NOT want to assemble it...I have issues with graphic instructions..map reading similar. My wife said..."never again!!"

Hi, apologies if this has been asked. My Prius C is unfortunately to small with the hat up to fit an assembled 590. Can it be partially assembled as to fit through the 32” inch width(left to right) and 28” tall space with the hatch up. Length is no issue.TIA. BTW, I’ll wager my Prius is the only...

Couldn’t find info on the sear kit. Would Straight Grill Grates on the flat side work for (do t shoot me) turkey burgers, dogs, etc. Minimal grease items?

W.. a couple questions if I may. First, did you have to turn off your smoke alarm in the garage? Second, I found the flat side of Grill Grates works well for burgers and fish. Have you tried them in your RT? Cheers.
