Looks good. The only thing is I have the RT1250 with the back side for the pellets. I’m not sure these covers would work for that. I bought a fiberglass welding blanket from Menards and now I’m worried about it after reading what you guys said.
I’d think the stitching shoukd be tight...
do you just lay the blanket on top or do you actually tuck it under, etc. Do you have a picture? If the blanket is on top, does that not allow as much Oxygen to get to the fire so it doesnt burn as well?
It depends on when you will get it. It took a little long for mine to come but did finally come about a month after ordering. Some people are still waiting.

Congratulations on your new grill
Sorry to hear that. I hope you get it soon. I got mine delivered right before I went on Christmas vacation and was all excited to put it together when I get back but coming back to -23 degree temps so not really conducive to putting it together.
I got mine last week but won’t be able to assemble until after the new year. So what am I doing most of the vacation? Why watching videos about how to smoke things and reading forums on smokers.
Have a merry Christmas everyone.
Sucks you had damage. I just got mine delivered but can’t assemble until after the new year. Was a little bit of damage but I don’t think it affected my grill. I’ll know in a few weeks when I can finally assemble it. What did the damage look like. Pictures?
If they say it won’t be delivered until at least the 24th I’d expect that will be the earliest.
Mine arrived within 10 miles of my house for 5-6 days before it was delivered. It just sat in the warehouse. Then on the earliest it could be delivered, it showed up on my driveway. No warning...
Well my grill finally came today. I am very excited but unfortunately I can’t assemble it now until after the new year. Believe me, the whole Christmas break, I will be chomping at the bit. Overall, I will say Estes wasn’t horrible except for a bit of slow delivery and not telling me the day...
I thought I was told a rule of thumb is 1lb of pellets per hour. Is this wrong? I am still waiting for my grill so I am not able to say if that is correct.
