This was the light than was on. Was on (lit) in the on and off position. Is off now. I will say the night before it got rained on without a cover in a pretty intense wind and rain storm. Cooking or planning to cook on it tonite, so maybe it worked itself out? Stay tuned.

Smoke few hours at low temp, wrap in foil with little bit of vinegar based sauce and jack temp up to 350-375. Can prob get completed in 6-8 hours using this approach

I’d love to know what the time difference is getting to say 500 degrees between the two…. My 700 struggles getting to 500 deg, a buddy of mine with the 590 said his got well over 600…. I’d take that into consideration as well.
