Matador Burner off center?

Can anyone explain to me why the burner is not centered?

What is the rationale for this?

No, it’s connected to the bottom piece and the position of the burner is not adjustable.

If I loosen the 3 Phillips screws, I do have adjustment on mine, although I was mistaken when I said the adjustment was possible with the slotted brackets. I adjusted mine when new, and I just went and took it out of adjustment, took the first photo, then adjusted it back to center. I’d second @Jigsaw recommendation-give recteq a call and see how they can help.

Thanks I will try that. I callled rec teq and they told it is normal to be off center and theirs on the showroom are the same way.

IMHO, I don't think RT cares about the Matador. Sounds like it was discontinued.

Probably right. I got it because it was on sale and it’s pretty versatile. I can fit an array of different pots and pans on it, works great for making a huge batch of tamales or a large stew.
