Bull Multiple Mods for new RT-700 plus the BFG 2500 Auger mod (not shown)

Got my RT-700 yesterday and I've spent 8 hrs modding it lol...haven't even plugged it in yet! After readingthe forums, I did the drip shield mod on the lid along with Lava Lock gaskets, the 6db mod on the wifi, added a big collapsible shelf and a Camp Chef Sidekick plus corner guards.

welcome to the forum! man the bug bit you fast. i love everything you did to your grill. thats awsome. were did you get the front shelf hinges? that side burner with griddle will make a perfect setup for reverse searing steaks. congratulations to you!

Make sure to RTV the smoke stack. Mine leaked grease. Had to RTV it after-the-fact.

Dang....I feel dumb because that's all amazing, but how did you do the corner guards on the sharp corners? The hopper corners seemed sharper than the control shelf to me, and I just have electrical tape on them right now to protect the cover, interested in something more durable...

Thanks. It is the sidekick griddle, not the sear station with raiseable lid. So it fits fine.

I love the front shelf. I did not order the one from rectec because 12" just seemed to narrow to be of value.
One question, it looks like you keep your grill in your living room?

Lol, no. Just put it together in the AC then wheeled it out to the patio. Smoking hot here in central Florida

It's a great idea but then you have to bring in make-up air, condition it, that gets costly.
