Anybody out there use Meat Church rubs? Which one(s) are the best? Mostly looking for ribs or pork butts.

I tried the Deez Nuts rub on ribs without sauce. To me had a funny taste. It will be used up mixed with other rubs on pork butts.

I do not recommend this one.

Thanks Buckeye1! That one was not one I was looking to purchase.

Good idea. 😎

We bought it somewhat as a gag gift because my son used to love those Deez Nuts jokes and figured it can't be that bad. Not terrible but not recommended.

Meat Church is my go to for rubs. I use the all purpose Gospel rub with the Honey bee Hogg or honey bee Hogg hot on pork and chicken, and the Holy Cow on beef. All of his rubs are great

I defiantly want to try these Meat Church Rubs at some point but I have so many other rubs in the pantry, many unopened if I get anymore before using them the there no telling what the wife is going to do to me. o_O
I haven't found any one rub that I prefer. The closest I ever got was buying 5 pounds of rub from Pit Barrel.

I just make my own purchasing bulk spice. Most of the commercial rubs first ingredients is either salt or sugar, which just happens to be the least expensive ingredients to purchase. I look at it like you're buying very expensive seasoned salt with commercial rubs, but they are convenient.

Agreed, I haven't liked anything I put together...yet.

You have to love the names.
except for the fact that there's like 37 with the word voodoo in it so I have no idea which one people are referring to when they praise voodoo.

Personally, I like Dave's rib rub for pulled pork. It's cheap and you can find it just about anywhere. It's one of the best tasting rubs I've had for pulled pork in my opinion.
