@britbikemike do the racks interfere with the RTD or have any effect on the temps? Any chance you could get a close up of the brackets without the shelves?

full instructions are
go under your grill and find the two braided wires mine were white they were under the main barrel looking front to back they were tie wrapped in the back on a ledge clip out the tie wraps pull the extra wire out and feed up through the path they are at (i took the cover off the back side of the blower housing 6 -8 screws you can move the two wires easy that way and yes there was enough wire to make the move pull the light housing inside your grill pull wire and move the housing up bottom hole of housing goes in the old top hole install new bottom /top screw and snug center the housing from side to side i used a tape from side to side mark the top hole and drill i used a 90 degree drill but you can take out the grills and drip tray and heat shield to use a regular drill i used the same size hole in the top as the old screw i just used a pan head Philips machine screw and nut feed the screw down from the top of the stove in to the housing and installed the nut inside im sure the braided wires would be fine by themselves but i wrapped mine with foil lined heat wrap like for spark plug wires next to headers mine was like 1 3/4" wide tube and kinda shape able so i folded it around the wires and crimped it with a stainless steel wire tie Ace hardware had them in stock i did notch the top left of the light housing with a small grinder to keep the header wrap snugged down when it was all tighten up i left the rubber grommet in the same place i just pushed some of the wire back in the hole and used high temp silicone to fill the hole and cover the grommet used the old screw left over to install in old bottom hole if you need more info reach me at 610-730-2789 or [email protected]

no interference with anything i did not mount the side racks i just take them in and out you do have to lift the end of the rack to install also they will lean in but not fall over its very easy to put the racks in once you have one in the rest just slide in no trouble
