I'm close to placing order for a new Bull.

I see that the Competition Cart is out there at a 50% discount.
Who has purchased it and would you do it again?
Let me know who loves it who doesn't and why.
thanks!!!

I bought the competition cart with my Bull, so I can’t say I ever used the stock legs/wheels for a comparison. I really like the cart, would buy it again, actually might have bought the Stampede with competition cart instead of the Bull had it been available at that time. Only downside I can see is that you do lose the storage space that comes with the stock setup. Which is probably a blessing for me as there is one less flat surface for me to clutter up! Absolutely no regrets getting the CC.

I purchased it at the discounted price. I’d do it all over again 10/10 times. I have pavers on my patio and it glides like a hockey player on fresh ice. I really like the sturdy feel of the rig now and it’s nice eye candy when friends come over to watch football. One additional benefit is now I can threaten my friends “don’t make me bring my smoker over” when we do rotating cooks and they have home court advantage. (Sorry, is my sports fan showing?)

If you don't get the cart...I'd highly recommend the wheel mod

I love the cart, but I had to change out the casters that came with it and replaced with larger pneumatic casters. It was too difficult to move across gravel with the stock casters on the competition cart. The original legs and shelf make an excellent grill cart with a little imagination.

Do you have a pic?

I purchased my Bull the second week of July along w/ the 50% off comp cart. I love it! It makes my grill look so much better and it is super EASY to maneuver around the patio if I need to sweep the leaves off. We have two extra large oak trees in our back yard, so yes, I fight a LOT of leaves especially this time of the year. I'd do it all over again too. It's a decision you won't regret. Buy the competition cart!

Its better to dance with than some of my old girlfriends.. Work just great.. you will love it...

I purchased my Bull two months ago and did not get the competition cart, so I cannot comment on it but I really like the stock legs, plus I love the storage.

I bought my RT700 back in April. Less than 2 months later I was ordering a replacement castor wheel. This 700 is on my wooden deck, but even that seems to be a bit tough on them. I would like to try the wheel mod but see that those of us with newer smokers (the new legs) are more difficult to modify?

I'm confused on why it's harder to do the wheel mod on the newer legs. Sure, they are angled, but why can't you just drill through and put in a threaded rod just like on the older style?

You can replace the swivel casters with something better. I've shared an example in another thread. Replacing the left side (non-swivel) are said to be more difficult because there is no thru-axle and the angle is complicated.

Any chance you can point me in the direction of that example you shared?
